Programs Being Offered
Department of Electrical & Biomedical Engineering is offering following programs:
1- BS (Electrical Engineering)
The BS Electrical Engineering Program has been offered at the University since 2014 and is among the pioneer programs initiated at the time of the University’s establishment. The graduates of this program are serving in various capacities across local and multinational organizations, contributing effectively to their respective fields.
In alignment with the Vision and Mission of Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) and the Mission of the Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, the Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the BS Electrical Engineering program have been formulated as follows:
PEOs of BS Electrical Engineering
Graduates of the program are developed engineers capable of
PEO-I
Providing well-designed engineering solutions based on a systematic approach
PEO-II
Showing integrity, communication, and management skills while undertaking professional tasks in a competitive environment
PEO-III
Utilizing tools and techniques with a quest for sustainable futuristic developments to serve humanity
2- BS (Electrical Engineering technology)
3- MS (Electrical Engineering)
4- MS (Electronics)
5- Phd (Electrical Engineering)
The DEE at KFUEIT currently offers an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power and communication engineering. During four years of this bachelor program, all students study same subjects until 6th semester, yet in final year, students are distributed in power and communication groups depending on their merit and willingness. So, for last two semesters these students study different elective courses offered by the department. The bachelor’s degree is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and accreditation with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is under process.
