KFUEIT Delegation Visits Fatima Fertilizer to Strengthen Industry-Academia Linkages
A delegation from Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), led by Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan, visited Fatima Fertilizer Limited (FFL), Sadiqabad, to explore avenues for strengthening industry-academia collaboration and enhancing practical learning opportunities for students.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Engr. Wajid Ishaq Bhatti, General Manager Manufacturing, Fatima Fertilizer Limited. The KFUEIT delegation included Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahzad Murtaza, Prof. Dean Dr. Muhammad Sagir, Director Career Counselling Dr. Yasir Niaz, Dr. Bilal Tahir, Dr. Shahid Attiqe, and Engr. Dr. saif ur Rehman Director ORIC, Khawaja Fareed UEIT, Rahim Yar Khan.
During the meeting, both sides discussed mutual cooperation in areas such as research partnerships, student internships, faculty-industry exchange programs, and technology-driven solutions for industrial challenges. Prof. Dr. Amir Azam Khan emphasized that strong linkages between academia and industry are essential to produce graduates who can effectively contribute to national development.
The visit concluded with a commitment to deepen cooperation and create sustainable platforms for innovation, skills development, and applied research benefiting both academia and the industrial sector.
