KFUEIT Conducts Mock Exercise in Collaboration with Law Enforcement Agencies to Enhance Campus Security
Rahim Yar Khan – Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) successfully conducted a comprehensive mock security exercise in collaboration with various law enforcement and emergency response agencies. The activity was organized to strengthen the university’s security preparedness and ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff.
The mock exercise brought together Pakistan Rangers (10 Wing), SHO Police Station Saddar, Civil Defence, Rescue 1122, Special Branch, Security Branch, CTD Branch, and Elite Force, who jointly participated in practical drills and response demonstrations. The purpose was to evaluate and enhance existing security protocols while ensuring swift, coordinated, and effective emergency responses across the campus.
The Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan, appreciated the collaborative spirit of all participating agencies and reiterated that providing a safe, peaceful, and secure learning environment remains a top priority at KFUEIT. He stated that such exercises are aligned with his vision of strengthening institutional resilience through improved preparedness and inter-agency cooperation.
Special appreciation was also extended to Chief Security Officer, Dr. Adnan Khaliq Bajwa, for his well-organized and efficiently managed arrangements, which contributed significantly to the success of the event.
