  • I hold a BSc (Hons.) degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and an M.Phil. in Medical Laboratory Sciences (Microbiology) from University of Health Sciences Lahore. I also completed one year of professional training in Medical Laboratory Technology at Aga Khan University Hospital, where I gained extensive experience in diagnostic microbiology, clinical laboratory practices, and quality assurance systems. My academic and research interests primarily focus on anaerobic bacteria, particularly Porphyromonas gingivalis, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and dermatophyte fungi.
  • More ever I have more than 11 years of experience in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology.I started my professional career as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Surgimed Hospital Lahore, where I worked for two years in the field of clinical diagnostics and laboratory medicine. From 2015 to 2021, I served as Quality Control Manager and Infection Control Microbiologist at Surgimed Hospital and Laboratory, contributing to laboratory quality management, infection prevention protocols, and microbiological surveillance. From 2021 to 2025, I worked as Lab Incharge at the Punjab Food Authority, Government of Punjab, where I supervised laboratory operations, food safety testing, and implementation of quality standards in public health laboratories.
  • Beyond my professional responsibilities, I have a strong passion for scientific research, professional development, and advancing laboratory quality standards in healthcare and public health sectors. I enjoy reading scientific literature, exploring emerging diagnostic technologies, and participating in academic discussions related to microbiology and infectious diseases. My long-term goal is to contribute to the advancement of diagnostic microbiology and public health through research, laboratory excellence, and evidence-based practices.

  • My research interests focus on anaerobic bacterial pathogens, particularly Porphyromonas gingivalis, along with Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Dermatophyte fungi, emphasizing their pathogenicity, antimicrobial resistance, and clinical impact in infectious diseases.
  • With expertise in diagnostic microbiology, I am actively engaged in the identification and characterization of clinically significant microorganisms using conventional and advanced laboratory diagnostic techniques to support accurate disease diagnosis and microbiological research.
