  • Bakhtawar Aziz is a Lecturer in the Clinical Psychology Program at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology. She holds an MS in Clinical Psychology from The University of Lahore and is actively engaged in teaching, research, and the professional development of psychology students. Her academic interests focus on evidence-based psychological interventions, with a particular emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence in psychotherapy.
  • Her research primarily explores the mechanistic evaluation of AI-augmented Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for treatment-resistant depression and other psychological disorders, aiming to enhance therapeutic outcomes and improve access to effective mental health care. She is committed to advancing clinical psychology through innovative research, quality education, and the application of emerging technologies in mental health practice.
  • She has diverse clinical and teaching experience, having worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Fountain House Lahore, Autism Resource Center Lahore, LIFE Drug Addiction Center Lahore, and Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan in the Psychiatry Ward. She has also served as a Child Psychologist at House of Wisdom (Neurodevelopmental Delay Program) Rahim Yar Khan, and as a Visiting Lecturer at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan Campus, contributing to both clinical practice and academic instruction in psychology.
