- Muhammad Zubair Nazar is currently working as a Lecturer in Optometry at the Institute of Health Sciences, KFUEIT. He holds an MPhil in Optometry and is a PhD candidate in Rehabilitation Sciences. His prior academic appointments include Senior Lecturer at The University of Lahore and Riphah International University, as well as Lecturer/Senior Optometrist at Avicenna Medical College. He holds a license from AHPC Pakistan and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (FAAO) as well as a Fellow of IACLE.
- He has presented as a keynote speaker in more than 15 national and international conferences, reflecting his leadership in optometric education and research. His scholarly work includes over 30 publications covering low vision rehabilitation, refractive surgery, pediatric optometry, specialty contact lenses, diabetic retinopathy awareness, and dry eye epidemiology.
- Outside academics, Zubair is an avid reader of biomedical ethics and enjoys hiking and exploring historical landmarks. He is passionate about community eye health education and spends free time mentoring young optometry students and volunteering for vision screening camps in underprivileged areas
