Dr. Majid Rashid

Dr. Majid Rashid is an accomplished scholar and Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies at the Institute of Humanities and Arts, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. He holds a Post-Doctorate from the Islamic International University Islamabad (2024) and a PhD in Islamic Studies from the University of Karachi (2021). Dr. Rashid has contributed significantly to the academic and administrative landscape of KFUEIT, serving in roles such as LMS Coordinator, Examination Coordinator, and Deputy Director of the Center of Sufism and Chief Librarian. His commitment to academic excellence is evident in his extensive teaching, mentorship and leadership in the development of Islamic scholarship and spiritual education.

A prolific researcher and author, Dr. Rashid has published over 50 research papers in HEC-recognized journals and authored more than a dozen books on Islamic jurisprudence, Quranic studies, Hadith, and interfaith harmony. His contributions extend internationally through active participation in over 30 national and international conferences. Beyond academia, he is a certified trainer and peer reviewer, with professional affiliations including Elsevier Researcher Academy and ProQuest. Fluent in Urdu, English, Arabic, and Punjabi, Dr. Rashid also engages the wider community through his educational YouTube channel "Dr. Majid Rashid," where he shares content on Islamic teachings and Arabic grammar.
