Engr. Dr. Naeem Maroof
Assistant Professor

  • Dr. Naeem Maroof got his BS degree in Computer Engineering from CIIT, Pakistan in year 2006. From March-2016 to September-2016, he was with CIIT Islamabad as a junior lecturer. He got his MS degree in Electronic Communication Engineering from EEE School of University of Nottingham, UK in year 2007. From November-2007 to August-2012 he was working as full time faculty member, Lecturer, at EE department of CIIT. From September-2012 to February-2016 he worked as graduate research scholar at Digital Systems Laboratory of Hanyang University from where he got his PhD degree. From March-2016 to August-2016 Dr. Maroof was working as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ISDL of Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. From September-2016 to June-2017 he was with the ECE department of Carnegie Mellon University, USA as a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
  • Since September-2017 Dr. Maroof is working as Assistant Professor at Computer Engineering Department of KFUEIT, Pakistan. His research area is IC Design, Low Power Electronics, and Embedded Systems. To date, he has published 7 articles in reputed journals including IEEE and IET. He has worked on several industry funded projects during his PhD and Postdoc. He has expertise in VLSI / SOC CAD Tools and is currently leading GRICS (Group for Research in Circuits and Systems: link: cpe.kfueit.edu.pk) at CPE KFUEIT.
  • Dr. Maroof has interests in Physics and Spiritualism. He is sportsman as well, and has interest in Tennis, Soccer and Jokju.
